In the Heart of Winter – A Special Women In Music for December 27, 2011

Join us this coming week on Women in Music with Laney Goodman, for a very special show called “The Heart of Winter,” featuring music to warm your heart during the long nights… with the vocals of Mary Jane Lamond from Nova Scotia… Ariane Lydon from the North Country of Wisconsin… and Kate Rusby from the United Kingdom… instrumental music from the lands of ice and snow with hardanger fiddler Annbjorg Lien from Norway… the hammered dulcimer of Maggie Sansone… and the storytelling of Ojibwe elder, Maryellen Baker.
